Motor Coach, Inc. makes the news again
Private Motor Coach, Inc. makes headlines again.
This time the North Hills company will be featured in the
October edition of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Sales
Success.” Columnist
Jerry Fischer will critique the Private Motor Coach, Inc. brochure “Anywhere-Anytime”
and suggest a makeover for the brochure.
The magazine will hit the newsstands in mid-September.
Ed Lonsbary, founder and president of
Private Motor Coach, Inc., claimed headlines in the past when he
launched his unique travel idea in January 1999 and it captured
the attention of those intrigued by his travel concept.
The
first headlines to appear ran in a local publication. “Traveling
in style” was written by Michael Yeomans of the North Hills
News Record and published April 28, 1999.
It explains how the Lonsbarys changed gears in their careers
to launch this new business.
The Pittsburgh Business Times later wrote an article:
“Ed Lonsbary’s Magic Bus: Private Motor Coach, Inc.
promises hassle-free travel and lasting friendships, "Anywhere-Anytime.”
On
June 3, 1999, the article introduced the Pittsburgh business
community to the benefits of traveling in a luxury coach with a
driver/escort.
Bus fans heard about Private Motor Coach, Inc. in the premier
edition of The Private Coach Enthusiast Magazine.
This publication ran a story and color photos of Lonsbary’s
motor coach “Patty’s Charm.”
Entitled “Riders Wanted Ed & Patty Lonsbary Open The
Road To All,” the article conveys the Lonsbarys' wanderlust and
spirit for travel.
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Staff Writer Rona Kobel gave
Private Motor Coach, Inc. front page news on August 13, 1999 in her
article “Boomers Hit the Road:
RV industry races to keep up with demand from over-50
wanderers.” This
article painted a comprehensive look at how Lonsbary’s new
business fits into the recreational vehicle industry fueled by baby
boomers and a robust economy.
The November/December issue of RV Companion ran a
story on the features and benefits of travel with Private Motor
Coach, Inc. in “Go anywhere, anytime & no driving.”
And, the December 1999 publication of Pittsburgh
International News suggested this alternative means of travel in
the article “Luxury Travel Anytime, Anywhere, While Someone Else
Does The Driving.”
Private Motor Coach, Inc. is the first to offer the unique
experience of life on the road.
The
company’s coach, “Patty’s Charm” goes
"Anywhere-Anytime"
in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America for leisure,
vacations, business trips or day outings.
The luxury motor coach features: a private bedroom and
bathroom, kitchen, and lounge with all the amenities of a house on
